I am going to start dedicating Thursdays to robins. Almost every outing, I come back with one or another photo of this beautiful — albeit somewhat territorial — bird.
This particular shot was taken deep in the woods, with just a small opening for light. I had plenty of choice of backgrounds as I’ve made quite a few photos of this same robin. In the end, I went with the one that had the simplest background as the subject itself was so striking.
