Finally had a proper outing to an RSPB reserve, so for the next few days I will be shuffling in some wilder birds.
Today’s specimen is a Little Ringed Plover — easy to identify by its distinctive yellow eye-ring. This photo was taken from a hide and from quite a distance, so the quality is a bit lower than usual.
