This lovely little bird was extremely patient with us. We noticed it from quite a long distance away and started making our way towards it, taking photos at every step — gradually improving the shots as we got closer. It just stayed there without much movement, looking straight at us the whole time, until we were no more than about five metres away. Ended up with around 40 shots of the same bird at various stages of the approach — but, of course, the best photo was one of the very last ones, when we were closest.
