I’ve decided to rebrand Thursdays from “Robin Day” to “Improved Shot Day” — where I’ll be posting birds I have already featured, but for which I now have either a much higher quality photo or a more interesting one to share. First up is the Hoopoe. This shot, taken in Armenia on the second day of our visit to Norashen Reserve, easily beats the earlier one for a number of reasons: better light, better backdrop, and significantly better overall photo quality.
