Going even further back — to August 2023 — for an interesting bird we haven’t seen here yet. At the time, I had just started with bird photography and was still using a DSLR with a smaller 18–300mm zoom lens, but still managed to get a reasonable shot of this remarkable bird. Flycatchers are named for a reason: they feed on small insects, which they catch mid-flight.
