This loud bird — which you can listen to on xeno-canto — was singing in the bushes and then suddenly flew out and perched at a very tricky angle in relation to the sun. The light completely threw off my camera’s metering, and I had to brighten the image significantly in post-processing. This kind of thing happens every so often, and I am still trying to figure out how to get a decent quality shot in these conditions.
