Not the best angle to catch a Northern Pintail, as the most striking feature of this elegant duck is the much longer tail feathers, which are not visible here. But another very strong hint is the vertical white stripe on the neck, so there is no doubt in the identification. Also, we haven’t had any pintails before, so I decided to share it anyway.
