At RSPB The Lodge reserve there was a section at the top of a small but steepish hill which, because of the winds or for whatever other reason, had quite a few birds of prey. We have already had quite a few Red Kites recently, but this photo is quite different, as I was lucky enough to catch one almost at eye level from the top of this hill.
