Finally a day without intensive rain, which meant a proper outing into an RSPB reserve. We had a few candidates, but the one with the “best weather” — which in this case meant the possibility of rain only after 2 — was RSPB Pagham Harbour. This is a very large reserve with multiple stops to explore various parts, and we managed two sections. Kicking off with this photo that I called: Goldfinches on the Lookout.
