Another good outing to an RSPB reserve with a speaking name: Rainham Marshes. The rain took a temporary break and we had bright sun and blue sky — something unseen for a while. A large number of House Sparrows is a feature of the visitor centre at this reserve, and during most visits the first and last photos are usually of these birds.
