I still have plenty of photos from Rainham Marshes, but let’s move on to another outing so as not to bore anyone. Farthing Downs is a good candidate — quite a few photos from here will keep us busy for a little while. First up is this lovely Redwing, which was very patient with us. We noticed it from quite a distance and used the “shoot and move” technique — I’m sure there is a proper name for it. Essentially you take 3–5 photos, walk about ten steps closer, and repeat the process until you are sufficiently close.
