I took a good long pause from the pressure of daily photo publishing and will now send out photos as and when I have a really good one or of a rare bird. This one, Firecrest, is a bit of both: snapped on a hike up into the mountains, this is a much rarer cousin of a Goldcrest we have seen a few times.
