Weather continues to be nice and we visited the northernmost point of Corfu: Cape Drastis. Pretty stunning views in general, but bird-photography-wise we had a very interesting setting: the walking path goes from water level in one part to nearly 100 metres up the side of the mountain, with a vertical drop to the water in another. And it was exactly in this section that I managed my first ever photo of a Kestrel’s back in flight as it whizzed past below us.
