A rather unusual angle for a bird photo – on a tree, but from above. I snapped this from the hide at RHS Wisley that I mentioned about ten days ago – it sits at the top of a small ridge with a swamp below. Another thing working well here is the light, which makes the colours of this Blue Tit stand out in lovely contrast.
