Another photo of a unique bird on a conifer tree, snapped in the sunset light. And again, it is slightly off the quality I would prefer to publish in this newsletter. However, the European Siskin is a very rare bird – and a first for me to spot and photograph. The reason these photos were taken so late is simple: it is waaay too hot to go out for a photo walk earlier in the day.
