Another reasonably fruitful outing today – to WWT London in Barnes. The absolute star of the day was this Kestrel, which flew in and sat like a statue not 10 metres away in a tree. I’ve decided to crop this photo so tightly, as I want to show all the intricate details of this little hunter. A more conventional crop is available below:
